Worship

O Worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness

They that Worship God must worship in Spirit and in Truth.  The words of our Lord governs all shape the worship at the Cathedral Church of St Andrew in Aberdeen.  We are blessed with the time-honoured tradition of Anglican Choral Worship and there is joy in what is offered to God.

The worship in the main is Eucharistic i.e. thanksgiving with Holy Communion celebrated twice on Sundays and once on Wednesday.  The main Sunday worship has several Choral parts and on special occasions music from our global Anglican community.

The weekly cathedral services represent the range of liturgies from the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Church of England and the Anglican Churches worldwide.

One of the five cathedral choirs sings the Offices, reflecting strongly the liturgical year.  Why not come and join the procession and the Celebration?
